SUMMER OBSESSIONS...
Good bye Summer,
It was nice while it lasted but, I'am oh so happy to see you go and, to welcome my favorite season... FALL!!! I love the Fashion of Fall and I CANNOT wait till the nice chilly weather is here!
So here are a list of products I used religiously when ever I did wear makeup, I know there is no point to write about it now since summer is basically over but these products I will use during the fall season as well (:
- HARD CANDY: GLAMOFLAUGE HEAVY DUTY CONCEALER.
First of let me tell you guys whats my skin type...I have supper DRY SENSITIVE skin! and very few products work for me! and especially under my eyes...Even at my age of 19 years I have under eye wrinkles, ISN'T THAT INSANE! ??? I absolutely hate how hardly any concealer ever worked for my skin type.
Every time I try a new concealer either it will irritate my eyes, make them water, or crease on me like crazy and really make my wrinkles and fine lines show up even more :'( The only concealer that i have ever been happy with is Mac's Select cover up concealer, and that is 17+tax its so pricey for a concealer.
But it is NOT the only concealer that I have every tried that was too pricey! I have tried the Bobbi Brown Concealer and Powder duo, Coastal Scents Concealer Palette (great for your makeup kit ), Cover fx concealer, Lancome water proof concealer, Maybaline, KatVonDs Concealer, Amazing, LM, and MORE.
But I found an awesome one for only SIX bucks...Hard candy is great and for the price come on!!! as long as you set it with a good loose powder your good to go!!! =] its so creamy and HEAVY a little goes a long way for sure I give it 4 Stars, I would give it more but I wish there was more colors.

- REVLON COLOR STAY FOUNDATION.
This is my absolute favorite foundation for the summer time, why?....Because it lasts ALL DAY!!!! EVEN THROUGH SWEAT! is blend-able plus medium to full coverage! AND there is a wide rage of colors! theres so little I can say its just that good!! only down side is there is NO pump but i believe a mac pump fits I haven't tried it yet. Recently I saw Revlon came out with a whipped 24hr foundation, but only problem with that is I hate digging my had into a jar...wish is had a mini spatula or something. So anyway I am In love with Revlon products its by far my favorite drugstore brand...and if you compare to Mac foundations which are around $29+ Revlon is only the most $12.00 you can't beat the price difference.
- SETTING POWDER.
My Favorite Setting powder is CoverFX Translucent powder in light. Now the way I like to use this is to set my under eye concealer and lightly dusting is on my T zone but mostly for my under eye...it is PERFECT for it...and on hot days when I know I'm going to be in the sun and melt I will use this to set my makeup and right after use my Fix+ from Mac which will leave your face looking amazing and I find that when i set my makeup with the powder it make it almost water proof! And I almost forgot, if you want a nice laminating glow this will give it since its meant for dry skin types.
- MAC FIX PLUS+
This product was my absolute secrete weapon!!! How I used it was to spray this directly on my brush and then dab my foundation on my brush and apply my makeup with a dampen brush, What this does is it will help water down your foundation so it is lighter with a sheer coverage, sets evenly and, I find it to become almost water proof. I also love to use this after my night skin care routine right before bed to help set my moisturizers.
- SIGMA FLAT TOP KABUKI BRUSH.
This brush is AMAZING!!!! its the best thing ever created!!! I love this brush out of all of my other brushes its so incredible. This brush is synthetic and I love using synthetic brushes because the foundation wont get all socked up by it. because of how dense and soft it is it will distribute everything evenly and with minimal effort when it comes to blending.
-Side story, I fell in love with the store THE AMORE when I went in to just look around on mothers day after me and my bf got dim sum, and this nice lady was making conversation and noticed my all saints bracelet, she made a comment about how nice it was and where I had gotten it from, at the time my mother had a store and sold these bracelet, so I said if you like it you can keep it...She was so happy and emotional over a bracelet that I could have easily gotten again and to me it really wasn't a big deal but for her it was an amazing treat! She was so sweet and I felt good giving it to her, I wasn't planning to buying anything that day but she was so happy she gave me a goodie bag of samples to try I was not expecting that after just a bracelet...Thanks to her I was able to try Laneige and fall IN LOVE with the skin care line <3
- SKIN CARE
As for my skin care during the summer time I fell IN LOVE with this sample bundle from LANEIGE at THE AMORE in queens, its a Korean skin care store and I absolutely love the store, I will definitely be purchasing the full size bottles of the samples I received which was the Water bank eye gel - AMAZING if you have dry sensitive eyes, The WATER BANK SLEEPING PACK so extremely light but yet so refreshing if you have dry skin it feels like your skin drank a gallon of water...best way i can describe it lol although it may sound weird and the set of the STRAWBERRY SCRUB & MASK If you didn't know strawberry is great for people with acne prone skin, I loved it because it isn't a harsh scrub it felt nice and my skin was so smooth...it claims to take the dead skin of and I definitely agree! -

If your in the queens are in NY you must stop by THE AMORE if your looking for awesome KOREAN skin care and makeup the store is small but absolutely lovely :)
